Well there's an old fashioned saying called "shop around", it may be old but it's still our best tip today! There are around 40 different companies in any given county in the UK and it seems that the smaller, less advertised firms get over looked and the bigger companies which have adverts and the monopoly that seem to get noticed more. My advice to get cheap van hire is to look on yell.com and other such directory sites and ring around as many companies as you can, you will be amazed at what price differences you can get!
At the end of the day most people just want a reliable clean motor in a particular size category i.e. Luton size van, long wheel based transit, short wheel based transit, small van etc and are not bothered whether the vehicle is a Ford or a Renault or whether it is old, new or what colour it is! They want a cheap van and they want one at a moments notice local to them, especially for the fast paced life we all seem to live at now, time is what most of us don't have but please spend 10-15 minutes and ... "SHOP AROUND" !!
